“The Other Side of the Moon” was awarded by two funds for screenplay development, Municipal Award of the city of São Paulo and State Government Award of Santa Catarina, and was selected for the script improvement Workshop at SESC – New Stories.
The project was selected for the following co-production meetings:
- Coproduction Forum Europe Latin America at San Sebastian Festival;
- Film Cup Brazil Meeting – France and Italy;
- Sao Paulo Film Festival Meeting – Argentina and Spain.
During the activities there was confirmation of an Argentine co-producer and talks with the French co-producer.
From the project “On the Other Side of the Moon” a transmedia project was initiated that already has its first result with the completion of the short film “Valentina”. The short is a prequel to the feature film and shows the story from the point of view of the young girl Valentina. He was awarded two awards for production and is being launched.
Finally, as an extension of the short film “Valentina” the series called “Valentina’s World” has begun. This will express the world from the point of view of a child and her adventures.
